Ultimate Retreat 2023
Once again, the SLPC youth group is going on the Ultimate Retreat!
What is the UR?
Once a year, the churches of the Philadelphia Metro West Presbytery (PCA) join together to provide middle and high school students with a fun-filled weekend of biblical teaching, Christian fellowship, and outdoor recreation. Students from five different churches will come together to glorify Christ and encourage one another.
Where are we going?
NorthBay Adventure Camp is located on the beautiful shores of the upper Chesapeake Bay, just one hour south of Philadelphia. NorthBay’s awesome facilities include a gym, rock-climbing wall, zip lines, and more!
The Important Stuff
Departure: Meet at SLPC at 6 PM Friday (4/21). Make sure to eat dinner beforehand.
Return: At approximately 1 PM on Sunday (4/23). There will no youth group on the evening of 4/23.
Bring: Bible, journal for notetaking, flashlight, snacks, sleeping bag, pillow, towel, athletic shoes, wrist watch, toiletries, clothing suitable for the adventure course and chilly evenings.
Cost: The cost for the entire weekend is $100, and registration is due 4/2. Scholarships are available. Make checks payable to Springton Lake Presbyterian Church with “Ultimate Retreat” written on the memo line.
Forms: All participants must have a completed NorthBay Guest Health Information Form and the SLPC permission slip.
Volunteers: In order to make this retreat a success, we need several volunteers to join us for the weekend. Kitchen volunteers will help with meal prep and clean up; Adventure crew members will facilitate the ropes course and rock wall during free time on Saturday.
