SLPC Annual Meeting and Picnic 2022

According to the SLPC By-Laws, Article III Paragraph 1 - “There shall be an Annual Congregational meeting for commitment to the annual budgets and for the election of officers and nominating committee. The date of the meeting shall be as fixed by the Session.”

The Session is pleased to announce that the 2022 Annual Meeting of SLPC will be held after the worship service on Sunday, June 12. All Communing Members who present themselves, but no others, are entitled to vote (BCO 25-1). Voting by proxy is not allowed.

At this meeting, the Session having judged the qualifications of candidates to serve as Ruling Elders and Deacons, in the light of the requirements set forth in the Form of Government and the Scripture shall be presented for election. No nominations shall be allowed from the floor. The following individuals will be present to stand for election.

A majority vote of all of the Communing Members present in person is required for election.

Deacon: Jon Mindrebo

The final Agenda for this meeting will be sent to the Congregation by email on Friday, June 10, 2022.
