Children's Ministry Director
Joni was raised in Newtown Square by parents who taught her to know and love the Lord at an early age. She graduated from Delaware County Christian School, then attended Taylor University, earning a degree in Elementary Education. She went on to earn her Master's Degree in Education Administration at Cairn University. After teaching for 12 years, 7 of them at DC, Joni moved to New Jersey to take a position as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Accreditation at Timothy Christian School in Piscataway, New Jersey. In the summer of 2021, she began serving at SLPC as the Children' Ministry Director.
While at TCS, Joni met her husband, Jonathan. They have thrree children, Owen, Charli Rose, and Miles. Joni enjoys spending time in the backyard, playing with her children or trying to keep the deer and rabbits away from her flowers. She enjoys watching plants grow, but is even more thrilled to watch children grow in their love for the Lord.
