Men's Retreat
Who: SLPC men and their friends
When: March 1-2, Friday evening through Saturday afternoon (ends before dinner)
Where: Traber Center at Camp Sankanac (about 40 minutes from SLPC)
Why: to recharge and build brotherhood
Cost: $125 ($75 if you sleep at home); $65 Saturday only (scholarships available)
We’re headed back to the Traber Center for our 3rd Annual Men’s Retreat on March 1-2. This year’s speaker is John Alexander, a longtime pastor in Philadelphia, currently serving as a counselor and development director for The Philadelphia Renewal Network. Our theme this year is "Grabbing Smoke (and other things we get to stop doing): The Gospel According to Ecclesiastes". Come consider how Jesus frees us from futile pursuits and invites us to a life of contentment and peace. The men’s retreat is a great opportunity to get away together, build brotherhood, and be strengthened to live for God’s glory in the face of life's responsibilities and challenges.
