PALM SUNDAY – APRIL 10

This is the day when Christians around the world remember the meaning of the true King’s arrival into the holy city of Jerusalem. And as we look back to the last week of Jesus’s earthly ministry, we also look forward with anticipation to his promised return!

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE WITH COMMUNION - APRIL 15, 7:00 P.M.

On this night, with deep gratitude, we remember what Jesus Christ did on the cross, for us! During the service we will sing the great hymns of our faith.  We will hear the crucifixion story read from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  And we will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13

EASTER FESTIVAL - SATURDAY, APRIL 16  10:00 A.M.

On  this day, we celebrate the season with our community! All children who are walking through 5th grade are invited to join us for our annual Easter Festival. Come for time together as families, games for the kids, a Bible lesson, and an egg hunt! Bring your own basket or bag and invite friends and family to come along with you!

Please reach out to Joni Mindrebo at jmindrebo@slpca.org for more information, or to volunteer to serve.

EASTER SUNDAY - APRIL 17

On Easter Sunday we celebrate the gift of eternal life and the certainty of Jesus’s promised return.  A glorious hope and promise made possible by the death of Jesus on the cross and by his supernatural resurrection from the dead.  Hope has returned to the world!

But the cross and the empty tomb are not just symbols of our faith – they are a confirmation of what Jesus promised when Simon Peter wrote that we have been given “...a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…” (1 Peter 1:3).

Celebrate this new birth and share this hope by inviting friends and family to attend the Easter service live or on-line. There is no greater gift!
