Our children are changing fast and so is their world. Life as a child or teenager in today’s world bears little resemblance to the world our younger self once inhabited. If we blink, we might be left behind, forfeiting our opportunity to effectively lead our kids through childhood and adolescence and into a healthy, God-honoring adulthood. The No Parent Left Behind seminar gets us started on the journey to understand our kids and their rapidly changing world.
Our speaker is Walt Muller, the founder and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (cpyu.org). CPYU is a non-profit organization committed to building strong families by serving to bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers. With over 35 years of experience Walt has become an internationally-recognized speaker and author on contemporary youth culture. He has written extensively on youth culture and family issues, authoring 7 books including the critically acclaimed Gold Medallion Award winner, Understanding Today’s Youth Culture.
Walt will guide us through a flyover of how our children and teens are growing, developing, and changing, along with how today’s cultural forces influence their beliefs and behaviors. We’ll get Biblically-based, hope-filled and practical guidance on how to increase our parental influence and lead our kids to a spiritually, physically, and emotionally healthy adulthood.
This seminar is for all parents and caregivers who are concerned about the next generation.
