Youth Ministry

Ping Pong - The church family is welcome to register to compete with amateur and skilled players to battle for the title. Check out the link to the left under Youth Ministry to register.

Discipleship Class for High School students is held downstairs on Sunday mornings 9:00-9:45 a.m., September 13th through May 23rd starting September 13th, 2015.

Tel Hai Retreat in September 16-18, 2016 launches the school year with a woodsy adventure in Honeybrook, PA. Middle and High School students are challenged from the Bible to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and experience cabin life in the great outdoors.

Summer Missions Trip provides an opportunity each summer for our High School students to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by helping those in need.

Youth Group is geared for personal growth in God and with friends.  Youth Group meets during the academic year on Sundays.  Middle/High School students meet together for games, food and then separately for lessons from the Bible.

Christmas Play gives our children and teens a creative way to bring the message of the birth of Jesus Christ to the entire church family and their friends.

Men's Golf Outing - any male high school student is  invited to our annual men's golf outing. Next outing will be TBD.

He Brews is a Saturday night Coffeehouse held monthly for age 15 and up.  Live music, great coffee, good food, and nice people make it an awesome night.

Christmas Play gives our teens a creative way to bring the message of the birth of Jesus Christ to the entire church family and their friends.

Hungry for Change is a thirty-hour fast weekend retreat for middle and high school teens held in February, where they learn about the starving peoples of the world and what they can do to alleviate poverty.

Ultimate Retreat is our annual spring weekend away!  Each year features a special guest speaker and great surprises!

Camp Treasure Island (CTI) needs our teens to serve as volunteers and camp counselors during the first full week in August.  You never have to graduate out of summer camp! CTi Players produce a daily skit that brings a Bible themed message to the campers during CTI.  CTI 17 will be back in August in 2017.

CCO's Jubilee conference held every February in Pittsburgh, PA. It's a time of developing relationships with one another while also considering what God has called us to in our general vocation as followers of Christ, but also in our specific vocations. Jubilee provides breakout sessions on topics ranging from the graphic arts to the sciences and so much more! Sign-up will begin in the Fall. Summer camping trip

CHILD SAFETY POLICY Springton Lake Presbyterian Church is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children entrusted to our care. Our church leaders recognize that child abuse is at epidemic levels and that our entire society is vulnerable to this terrible crime.  Our Child Safety Policy provides formal screening and training of all adult child care volunteers to reduce the risk of any harm befalling our children. SLPC's Child Safety Policy provides for specific procedures to ensure our compliance with PA law that establish protocols for notification and direct reporting of inappropriate behavior.There is nothing more important than providing a safe place for our children to learn the Story of God’s love and grace made possible through our Lord Jesus Christ.
