MWP Conference: Diane Langberg

The Church as a Refuge Seminar - Featuring Dr. Diane Langberg

Dr. Langberg is globally recognized for her work with trauma victims. She has trained caregivers the world over in responding to trauma and to the abuse of power. Her most recent book is Suffering and the Heart of God: How Trauma Destroys and Christ Restores. Diane is a long-time member of Calvary PCA in Willow Grove, PA.

Session 1: Understanding the Power God Has Entrusted to Us

Session 2: Understanding the Experience of Abuse

Session 3: Governing Principles for Responding to Abuse

This conference is for:

  • Leaders who desire to care well for those 'sinned against.'
  • Pastors, laity, and friends to learn to ensure that our churches provide 'shelter from the storm.' (Isaiah 32:2)
  • Those who have been wounded and need a refuge.
