WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP TREASURE ISLAND NEVER STAYS AT CAMP TREASURE ISLAND!!!!
Each day a new Bible verse will be featured at camp. On Tuesday through Friday, campers can earn points for reciting the Bible verse of the day when the camper arrives at camp.
FRIDAY NIGHT CLOSING PROGRAM
On Friday evening at 7:00 PM on the last night of camp, each camper is invited to bring the whole family to the camp’s closing program, to see a slide-show of photos from the week, hear songs the campers know, and enjoy refreshments out on the lawn. The final act of the week-long performance of Treasure Island Players will take place here.
HEAT ALERT
In very hot weather, campers and counselors can expect to get a bit wet every day when outside for games, so it would be good to wear a bathing suit every day under your clothes every day. Drinks are served throughout the entire morning on very hot days.
DROP OFF and PICK UP
We want to minimize the traffic jam we can cause on Rte. 252, so please stay in your lane of traffic in the parking lot, and don’t hold up the line of cars behind you.
Arrival: Please follow directions from Parking Attendants and stay in your lane of traffic. Campers can be dropped off in the parking lot in front of the church. Parking Attendants will send them straight to the Check In Table every single day for a name badge, and then on into the church. (If you truly need to park to walk your child in, please park out on the residential roads across from our driveway exit. Please park on the house-side on those streets only.)
Departure: Please pull into the parking lot and stay in your lane of traffic to park. Campers will be dismissed in front of the building, and you can meet your campers in front of the building to walk to the car.
No Crosswalk: The Marple Police have warned there is no legal crosswalk across Rte. 252, so please do not park up by the tennis courts and walk across the intersection!
