Prayer and Fasting
Elders have set aside Thursday, May 4th (the National Day of Prayer) as a Special Day of Fasting and Prayer. We will begin the fast at sunset on Wednesday May 3 and 'break the fast' on Friday morning. Fasting is not just about self-denial but a spiritual discipline to take the pains of hunger and turn them toward a greater hunger for Jesus Christ. We Pray because we must to stay connected to our God - like children we open our hearts to the Father, in the name of Jesus the Son by the Holy Spirit.
- The Church will be open for prayer in our Conference Room.
- One of our leaders will be in attendance at these times to provide guidance and written prayer requests.
- If you cannot come to the church we understand - simply fast and pray as you are able throughout the day.
